WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (October 20, 2023) - Reginald D. Hicks, an experienced civil mediator and arbitrator, has joined Upchurch Watson White & Max Mediation Group as a full-time neutral.
Since 1987, he has represented both individual and corporate clients throughout the state, primarily litigating civil cases before juries and judges. He has experience in these practice areas and includes them among the areas in which he mediates: transportation, county, state, and local government disputes, Title IX claims, attorney's fees, church disputes, civil rights, commercial construction, discrimination, family law, eminent domain, personal injury, and police or law enforcement. He also is available to assist in resolving disputes before lawsuits are filed.

Mr. Hicks is a native Floridian who grew up in Broward County and earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration (with an emphasis in marketing) and his law degree from the University of Florida. He was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy, serving honorably until 2002.
He is a member in good standing with The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the U.S. Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
Mr. Hicks also is a past chair and current emeritus member of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners and has served as president of both the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and the F. Malcolm Cunningham Bar Association.
He is a graduate of Leadership Florida and Leadership Orlando, and a member of Florida Blue Key.
